Within the Mithril Hawk Knights of the Karsten Republic, the Paladin Squad is the most recognizable type of troop. They were first the sworn high guard of Karsten nobles and are adept with the greatsword as well as charging into enemy lines on horseback while brandishing spears. Nowadays the paladins kept up with the times and donned ARCHECORE to become the elite troops who safeguard the Karsten Republic while brandishing greatswords and eagle tower shields.
